Parson Russell Terriers

Hi guys,
glad to be invited to Bacolod Dogs. Now we have our own site and get to know more Bacolod dog lovers.

Any one who has Parson Russell or Jack Russell terriers here?
Havent seen anypost for this breed yet.

Parsons and Jack Russell differ in size. Parson standard size is 13-14 and Jack Russell size ranges from 12-15. Thay are good hunters. Very successful for rat catching. Very strong and muscular. They are very intelligent and easily train if you show your the boss. They might challenge you if you don'y show who's the alpha. They are a real clown.

Here is my dog Milo
He is now 3yrs old. He is good with tricks, Frisbee and agility.



Milo doing weave in Bais City. We were invited by the city officials in Bayawan to demonstrate K9 Agility and dog protection. Our group is K9 Obedience club of Negros Occidental.


Milo in Boracay. We were invited by Alpo to teach and demonstrate fribee in Boracay.


After a hard day Milo needs to cool down in his favorite water hole.

Welcome Masaste and Milo the Wonder Dog! I'm a big fan of Milo and i didn't pay any attention to JRT's before but because of him, ara na siya sa listahan ko.

Yesterday, Milo and I joined the Jumpers category. Unfortunately he decided to pee while running the course. So we were eliminated.
Jake and fly got the 4th place in the Jumpers category.
The day before the competition I tried to get Milo's time in the 32 poles. Our time was 8.41 seconds. I was hesitant at first to join knowing that Davao's dogs are pretty fast at this, but I joined just for fun and who knows.
The game started with the large breed dogs. There were 4 dogs competing. The fastest was a Belgian Mallinois with the record time of 6.33 seconds. So amazing to watch. Nobody came close.
In the small breed category we are 5 all in all. 3 from Bacolod and 2 from Davao. Milo's time was 6 seconds and Bagyo from Davao is 6.47seconds. A very close match. I am very proud of Milo. Its his first win in the national competition.
I hope he will make me proud again this afternoon.
